For those of us in town for the holidays keen to escape family for a few hours, FRAMES presents another memorable evening celebrating independent, obscure, and experimental animation.

Join us at HONEY DIP (@honeydipbar) for a whimsical selection of endearingly offbeat curiosities, NFB nostalgia, quirky Québécois classics, mesmerizing abstractions, and impressionistic visions created in pastels, ink, oils and sand.

No set program, just casual viewing in The Dip’s loungy atmosphere with dozens of 16mm short films in reach and audience participation encouraged to decide what’s next as it unfolds. Bring an old friend and invite a new one to sip a cocktail and enjoy the offerings of this unique and colourful experience.
